Unfortunately I was born too late to experience Morrowind on the PC or on the original Xbox. However, I had heard of Oblivion being the game to have on Xbox 360. So I persuaded my Mother to hunt this game down at all cost.

Not long after I had given the order, word had reached me that a collectors edition was all Game Stop had in stock (keeping in mind that this was in 2006 when the game had first come out, I had no money of my own and I was only 12 or 13). Anyway, my Mother came home and to my delight she had the collectors edition with her.

The collectors edition contained a life-size ‘Pocket Guide to the Empire’ within it and this is where todays photo is taken from. Elder Scrolls bloggers out there will recognise the picture as being one of the star signs that players may choose within the game.

To cut a long story short, I loved Oblivion and I still have my collectors edition, although it has definitely seen better days! The pocket guide is a beautiful piece of art and is by far, one of my most prized possessions.

Finally, enjoy todays photo everyone!
