For today’s photo I decided to stop in the seaside town of Annagassan (pronounced: Annie – gassan) on my way home from Dundalk. There are many seaside towns along the East coast of Ireland but Annagassan is the closest one to my town of Ardee.

I originally planned to stop in Blackrock and is why I had my camera with me but alas, Blackrock was full of people out enjoying the weather. A common stereotype amongst us Irish: We stop what were doing when the sun comes out!

I love the colour of the foam. To me, it’s nearly whiter than white. This contrast between the rocks and the sea can be found on nearly every Irish beach. No white sands here I’m afraid!

As always everyone, enjoy today’s photo!
