Today I decided to experiment with the shutter speed on my camera by taking pictures of the flowing water in the feature out the back. I had some trouble trying to find a decent depth of field but I think I done ok.

My camera can shoot as fast as 1/4000th of a second so I decided to put this to good use. I may not have captured the water running perfectly, but it is definitely a good start to improve my skills at photographing high speed subjects.

As always, I brought the image into Photoshop and converted it to a JPEG to upload onto WordPress. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to take some nice nature photos outside of the confines of my back garden. I’d rather not bore you all with hundreds of picture of my Mothers flowers!

Anyway, enjoy todays photo!
