For todays photo, I decided to revisit macro photography and flowers. The picture is of one of the many roses that have been placed on my Grandfathers grave in preparation for his months mind (one month anniversary of death).
Today we attended the mass in honour of his passing, celebrating that he has gone on to a better place where perpetual light will continue to shine upon him, along with all the souls of the faithfully departed. I visited the grave after the mass and took a few shots of the cross and of the roses.
The shot was not edited in any way and is currently my favourite shot this far in my challenge. I’m glad to see that my macro photography skills are improving slightly, and what better way to put them to use than photographing something as beautiful as this.
Enjoy todays photo!
