In the summer gone by I was going to be turning 21. Naturally, with this large milestone in mind my Father had a special gift in store for me. Having been introduced to Fleetwood Mac by my Father early in 2005, just when I was 11 years old. Two tickets to Fleetwood Mac in the Three Arena, celebrating the 35th anniversary of their most famous album; Rumours.

The day we arrived up was really special. Within a half hour we were inside the arena standing literally feet away from where Stevie Nicks would be singing. The next thing I knew, out came her mic stand, cloth hanging from the top in true Stevie style. Once The Chain came on I was in my element. Lyndsey Buckingham and Ms Nicks done an acoustic set featuring Never Going Back Again. Then they all performed Tusk before finishing with Songbird.

After leaving the arena I was stunned by the performance I had just witnessed, still talking about it to this day. I really can’t thank my Dad enough for giving me this special opportunity to see one of the greatest bands in the world. It’s safe to say that will be the last time we see all five of them together.

Below are some images I had taken from the night.
